The cheapest way to buy tickets is to go onto the stagecoach app and buy a bundle of 10 ‘northwest explorers’ tickets. These tickets are valid for unlimited travel on all stagecoach services in Cumbria (and Lancashire). It costs £84 for 10, and they are valid for 12 months. So it works out at £8.40 and you can use that ticket for travel all day.

It appears I need to eat my words. I’m very pleased to say that Fellrunner have decided to continue operating their 105 Tuesday (Greystoke & Newbiggin) service and their 132A Friday (Newbiggin, not Greystoke) service, subject to future passenger numbers. See also Pam’s message below (Jan 23rd, 3:52 pm).
